Join the Community Ride

Get on the saddle and join Axel Merckx, former national cycling champion of Belgium and Tour de France competitor, in a community ride to raise funds for the BC Cancer Foundation.

The Westside Cycling Classic Community Ride hits the streets on Sunday, June 1 following the Provincial Road Race Championships. Riders will follow the professional circuit (40 km) along West 10th Avenue and through the scenic beauty of the UBC Endowment Lands.

This all skills-level, all-ages ride is fully supported so bring the family, gather a group of friends or create a team and fly the corporate colours.

To join the Community Ride you'll need to register and raise a minimum of $300. With the easy-to-use online tools that you will have access to once registered, it will be easy to meet that goal or raise even more.

You'll also receive training tips and encouragement along the way to ensure that you have all that you need to be successful and have a great time riding whole supporting the fight against cancer in British Columbia.
