Westside Cycling Classic Road Race

The BC Cancer Foundation and the Wedgewood Cycling Team proudly present the fourth annual Westside Cycling Classic Road Race - held this year, again, around the scenic roads surrounding Pacific Spirit Park near UBC., but now also revisiting the W. 10th Avenue merchant corridor.

Once again, the event has the added distinction of being the B.C. Provincial Road Race Championships. The race will again be set against a spectacular backdrop of the Pacific Ocean, the Coastal Mountains and will attract racers from around the Pacific Northwest and Canada anxious to compete in one of Canada's premier cycling events.

We are honoured again to have Riley Law (Bill Riley) return to sponsor the Master's Championship races. This year Bill dedicates his sponsorship to honour the memory of his friend, Paul MacNeill, a prominent Vancouver securities lawyer and a Cancer Fighter.  Paul fought various forms of cancer over a ten year period, but, sadly, succumbed to the disease in December 2007.
